Applix provides high quality certified service, repair and installation for appliances in New York area. We are seeking service technicians to join the team, so if you are a trained and qualified appliance repair technician and you have excellent customer service skills, this is the job for you.

- Be detail-oriented, following specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship and typing up accurate service notes
- Be a self-starter who is always willing to become an even better tech
- Be able to lift 60 lbs, push 100 lbs, and pull 50 lbs
- Have relevant experience
Requirements
- 1-2 years industry experience or three years general contract maintenance experience
- Proficient knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair with hands on experience
- Knowledge of environmental/industrial hazards (i.e., asbestos, lead, mold, radon) as they apply to residential housing
- Available to be “on-call” when requested and promptly respond to work order requests during assigned periods, except during meal periods and rest breaks during which time employee is relieved of all duties and the
- Company relinquishes any control over how employee spends this time
- Valid driver license and automobile insurance
- Ability to read and write English
- Speak English and understand spoken English
- General understanding of Email, Phone Apps and AppFolio property management software preferred
